Something had not felt right that morning. The feeling had only increased when Erika had left her room. She associated the feeling with her apprehensions over Giovanni's presence, and paid it no mind at first. The feeling was suppressed until she crossed through the garden. No, something was wrong.

The crash from inside the green house sent her running.

Opening the door, she couldn't bring herself to bring her eyes from the floor. She didn't want to look up. Her fears were enough. The smell of loose potting soil was heavy in the air and shards of terra cotta were strewn near her feet. Erika took a few steps, gingerly reaching out and picking up the first plant that had been uprooted. "I'm sorry," she murmured, raising her gaze to the rest of the green house.

"I'm sorry."

----

… I do not know who was responsible for the events in the green house this morning. I have no idea what your intentions were or if you accomplished them. I cannot begin to express my disappointment in the lack of respect that was shown towards the efforts of your classmates and the life their efforts made bloom.

Your actions are a reflection of your character, and I can only presume you have the same amount of respect for yourself as you do the things you've destroyed. Regardless, it would be my hope that someday you'll be above petty actions and apologize to those whose time and hard work you've wasted. That way I know who you are so I can slip you poison.

… I'm salvaging what I can, but there are a good deal that were lost. I… apologize.

What happened to the greenhouse?

[Naval is at a loss of words as she reads this.

She rushes to the greenhouse to help]

Yes, I saw what became of the greenhouse this morning... I can't believe it! Why would someone do such a thing?

I put a lot of effort into my contributions, but I'm willing to help replant.

... ...

If you need an extra pair of hands... I'll do what I can.

Did someone order a douchebag?

Best laid plans, who could have foreseen this, keep a stiff upper lip, we shall overcome, if only we'd known -- and yet how could we.

You have my deepest condolences over the extreme loss of your fern collection, etc, etc, etc.

THIS IS SOME SORT OF AN ACTION LOG

Somehow there is a slowpoke in your room. He is looking at you with his slowpoke eyes.

You have type advantage! Strike while you still can!!

[...This didn't strike Mac well at all. He read the other comments, too.]

...Miss Erika. You need any help?

[identity profile] sicklypriest.livejournal.com 2010-04-17 05:10 am (UTC)(link)
What a terrible thing to do...

Miss Erika, is there... anything I may be able to offer? I'd love to help. It doesn't do my heart well to know the poor greenhouse was wrecked in such a way.

[identity profile] will-be-god.livejournal.com 2010-04-17 06:40 am (UTC)(link)
Disgusting. Such a deplorable act of needless destruction.

If it is discovered who has done such a terrible thing, I will make them pay dearly.

[identity profile] geometricmagic.livejournal.com 2010-04-17 02:13 pm (UTC)(link)
Why would anyone even...?!

[identity profile] snowypoison.livejournal.com 2010-04-17 03:34 pm (UTC)(link)
[He read the other comments this time]

What?! I'll help too.

[identity profile] pitticus.livejournal.com 2010-04-17 06:37 pm (UTC)(link)
And me! How could they...

[identity profile] fucbarrelrolls.livejournal.com 2010-04-17 10:47 pm (UTC)(link)
[Fox didn't even respond to the journal entry. He just showed up at the greenhouse. Tools. Gloves. Seeds. Fertilizer. Splints. He was laden down with the first aid of plants, and new life. His face was pained and upset upon seeing the state of the greenhouse, and went quickly to find Erika.]

[identity profile] orange-leader.livejournal.com 2010-04-18 03:17 am (UTC)(link)
Why would someone even do that?

I know you've already had plenty of offers, but if you need any more help, I'll be glad to.

[identity profile] watermelon-yum.livejournal.com 2010-04-18 03:39 am (UTC)(link)
Wah! Somebody hurt the plants?? Enemy of fruit is enemy of Yoshi!

[identity profile] umbreon-blacky.livejournal.com 2010-04-18 03:40 am (UTC)(link)
Who would stoop to destroying the greenhouse? This is most upsetting indeed. I'm going to have to go back to buying berries from the store now.

I also wish to help in whatever way I can.

What happened in the greenhouse? I can tell from reading the rest of these posts it got wrecked somehow, but... Who the hell would even Pig masks?

I'm not much for actual gardening, but if there's any shelves that need fixing I'll help out.
