It's the seventh day of the seventh month… Tanabata!

In various locations throughout the school and outside, bamboo branches have been set up! If your character cares to investigate, they will find that there are pens and colorful sheets of paper nearby with string attached to them. There is a short explanation posted nearby to explain, and encouragement to share their own wishes.

Wishes can be simple, serious, just for fun, whatever! "I wish I had a pony." "I wish I had a girlfriend." "I hope Billy makes it out of the hospital okay." Characters are not required to sign their names, but there is a chance that someone could see them hanging something up...

You can leave their wishes on this post! Feel free to make action threads if you so desire! Just make sure to mark it as such if you're into that kind of thing.

Giovanni remembered the trees from the year before, and thought to leave a wish as he did then. Not that he believed it would come true, but what could it hurt. He thought about it for a moment, and almost wrote in Italian what popped up in his head first:
I wish I could tell Iv-
Then, realizing what he was writing, swore under his breath and crumpled it up. What nonsense. But that nonsense had been getting more pervasive in his thoughts. He wasn't sure what to make of it.

Picking up another slip of paper, he wrote a different one, both in Italian and English:
I wish for my son to become stronger and better than I.
