Ah... I can feel spring trying to embrace us. What a wonderful feeling.

This school has been a very pleasant surprise so far. I was not entirely sure at first how things would go over while teaching an actual academic subject. My floral arrangement class is much different... But it has been going very nicely. I will admit that this is mostly due to my students' input. I'd like to thank all of you for being attentive and patient. I have not forgotten your hand-outs from first class class, but you must learn the basics before the specifics.

... This reminds me that while I mentioned it to my students, I do not believe I mentioned it in a general sense. As a gym leader, I have duties in Kanto as well as here. As such, I will be returning each week to attend to my gym and make sure everything is in order ~~so the League doesn't collapse on itself my goodness.~~

Seeing as there are quite a number of trainers and pokemon alike amongst us... If you ever find yourself in need of something from the Kanto region, I would hope you would not be afraid to ask. Celadon boasts a wonderful department store. I am sure I'd be able to locate something for you.

I will always be available to contact should anyone need anything whether I am here or there.

Ms. Erika. I ask that you mail a letter in my stead. I will reimburse you for postage, as well as any other expenses you may encounter.

Cyrus wrote out a quick letter, folding it over and pushing it into an envelope. He would make no fuss of it--best not to arouse suspicion.

A few minutes later, he was in the hallway searching for Erika. He knew what she looked like, vaguely anyway.

Erika was relatively close by, actually. She had the feeling that Cyrus would come looking for her shortly after she had replied to him, so she had excused herself from her desk and made her way to the hallway.

She turned at the sound of someone approaching her down the hall, spying someone that she had not properly met. Erika bowed her head in a simple greeting. "Cyrus?"

He bowed politely, professionally. "Ms. Erika. I trust you were not waiting long."

She gently shook her head, hands folded neatly in front of her. "Not at all. You wished for me to mail a letter for you...?"

"I do," he said, affecting a smile. "Tell me when you return what I owe you for the postage. I'm afraid I'm unsure what it costs to send a letter from Kanto to Sinnoh."

He handed her the simple envelope.

"I am afraid I am not aware of the price myself, so I will be sure to do so," she replied as she took the envelope in her fingers. Erika glanced at it briefly before looking back up at Cyrus.

"Forgive me if the question is out of place... Is there a special significance for this letter to be mailed from Kanto?" Erika asked curiously.

"It will reach Sinnoh faster." Well that and he didn't want his new location to be discovered, but still. "I have heard that mail from here may run into problems."

"Ah." While the initial request had seemed a bit strange, that thought had crossed her mind. "Then it must be a rather important message."

"Only a letter. I took this position rather suddenly, after all."

Then he started to walk off.

Erika simply nodded, glancing down at the letter in her hand again. What a curious fellow. She safely tucked the envelope away and went back into her room.

Also... if you have some time before you go, I wonder if I could ask you to help me plant something for my caretaker, Granny Bethel. She loves flowers, so I'd like to give her one from school that isn't found in Kanto. Would that be okay?
