Hello, Smash Academy… My goodness, it's quite chilly here… I truly was not expecting this much snow! It is not nearly as cold in Celadon.

But no matter. Cold as it may be, we shall persevere. Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Erika. I am the Leader of the Celadon Gym in Kanto… I do hope you are not growing weary of us, seeing how many of my peers have arrived before me… The winter months in Celadon leave one desiring more, as it is not a popular time for trainers to travel. I have heard that this school has much to offer, and I hope you'd allow me to teach you the beauty that can be found in the world's flora.

…You could also say I am somewhat concerned about a few things. I hope I will not be an intrusion to my fellow gym leaders.

Would someone be so kind as to show me the way to your green house?

Hello! I'm Ponyta and I'm also from Kanto! I came from a small day care center there.

I think it's great to see so many grand gym leaders and trainers here. I never would've thought that I'd be able to see a gym leader in my life until I came here! I'm so happy to meet you~ You seem like a really nice gym leader. Can I be your friend? I can help keep you warm, hehe. I agree with you that it's really cold here, but isn't it exciting to see this much snow???

On the other hand, she only seems to be sweet and nice. What if it's a trap. No, that would be silly. Why couldn't she have been a flying type or something? It is rather exciting to see the snow. I have not seen this much very often at all! Yet I find myself quickly desiring a spring, haha.

Yup, that was me. It was interesting to hear from Daisy why humans wore clothes. Although I feel kind of weird wearing them, I don't want to be impolite to anybody by taking them all off. In any case, they do help keep me warm a little better so I don't have to rely on my flames. I wouldn't want to burn anything on accident.

And, you don't disappoint me at all! You're the first gym leader I've met, and a very pretty one at that. I hope I can learn a lot from you! You're going to teach about plants, right? Granny Bethel owned a garden back at the day care and I loved to look and smell her flowers. I always try to avoid stepping on flowers when I can. It's really sad to see them get stepped on....
