I am the Leader of the Celadon Gym in Kanto… I do hope you are not growing weary of us, seeing how many of my peers have arrived before me… The winter months in Celadon leave one desiring more, as it is not a popular time for trainers to travel. I have heard that this school has much to offer, and I hope you'd allow me to teach you the beauty that can be found in the world's flora.

…You could also say I am somewhat concerned about a few things. I hope I will not be an intrusion to my fellow gym leaders.
